Battery Point is Hobart’s most historic suburb; it began life as a home for mariners working out of Hobart Town and is still a residential area today with many homes classified by the National Trust.
Just a short walk from Salamanca Place and Hobart’s waterfront, Battery Point retains all the character of a Cornish fishing village of the last century with restaurants, antique shops and several pubs.
